Lucky to have friends (and cats)

This card was created for the Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #168, which was a sketch challenge and the sketch is below. I used some shamrock paper I had in my stash, a couple of shades of green paper and cardstock,  and I stamped Newton with his pot of gold in Superior black ink. I colored them with Copic markers and then fussy cut around them-one of the very few image stamps I don't have a die for. Then I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with white powder. I finally assembled the card, popping Newton and the sentiment circle up on some foam and tying the twine around the card. Now to mail it to one of my long time friends to brighten up her day!

Here's the sketch I interpreted for this challenge. I want to thank Newton's Nook for their biweekly challenges. I enjoy stretching myself to come up with something new for each challenge.
