Happy Tiny Birthday!

This card with adorable birthday icons is made with Taylored Expressions stamps and dies. The icons are on the All Together Birthday stamp, which stamps them all at once. Then there is a coordinating die to cut them all out at once. I colored the images with colored pencils. I then cut the Big Circles coverplate die out of brushed silver cardstock and two pieces of white cardstock and layered them together for depth. I mounted the coverplate on a black card front and mounted the icons with foam tape to pop them up above the coverplate.

Shiny!

This is an entry into Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge. The theme this week was Anything Goes, so I pulled out some products I've been wanting to play with: Lindy's Magical Powders! You can't really tell from the picture, but the background is very shimmery. I first embossed the SSS Arches background stamp in white on watercolor paper. Then I wet the paper thoroughly and flicked on the powders. I combined Beach Ball Blue and Dip a Toe Teal. The sentiment is CZ Designs for Simon Says Stamp, and I used SSS Matte Silver Cardstock for the mat and sentiment. Both panels are cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles. I then added a few silver sequins just for fun.

A Huge Thank You!

I've been gone from my computer and card making supplies for a couple of weeks while I took care of my youngest daughter at her house while her father (who she primarily lives with) went to South Carolina to care for our granddaughter while our oldest daughter and son-in-law went to St. Augustine. This required some rearranging of schedules at my work, so I decided to make cards thanking the coworkers who covered for me. This one uses Simon Hurley's Geo Circles stencils with Gina K. Wild Dandelion and Turquoise Sea inks and a thanks word from Hero Arts. I also added a few silver sequins for sparkle, as well as painting the thanks with Wink of Stella. I used Gina K.'s Master Layouts 2 to trim the panels and popped it up on foam tape before attaching to the card base.

Happy Mail

I used the new Postage Collage Coloring set from Waffle Flower for today's card. The inks are from a variety of companies, mostly Gina ...
