Wintry Days!

It seems like it’s been cold everywhere lately. Here in Texas, we’ve had quite a spell of unseasonably freezing temperatures-the perfect time to stay inside and be creative. I staged this card instead of my usual card only picture-let me know if you like the change.

The card uses Gina K. stencils and stamps, with Stellar Snowflake in the background, created with White Shimmer Delicata ink. The smaller snowflakes are from Last Minute Labels and Blizzard. They were stamped with embossing ink and heat embossed with white tinsel embossing powder. I finished off the card with some silver sequins and popped the blue panel up using foam tape onto a silver card base.

Love you lots!

This card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge, Lots of Heart! I used the Valentines Hearts Border die set with Peacock, Blue Jay, Raspberry, Chili Pepper, Fake Tan, Sunflower, Noble Fir, and white cardstock, then mounted the rows of hearts on Licorice cardstock. The sentiment is from Wavy Sayings, stamped in Jet Black ink and cut out with a Simple Wavy Banners die. Some of the hearts were accented with Crystal Stickles.

Happy Birthday to you!

This card was created as a birthday card for my nephew and an entry into the Lawn Fawnatics Let’s Celebrate challenge. I created the background by randomly stamping the little icons from the Party Animal set, and colored the cake from Cake it Easy to look like red velvet (kind of). The sentiment is also from Party Animal. The panels were cut with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the front panel was popped up on foam tape for dimension. I hope he likes it!

Long time no see!

I had become discouraged with this blog and decided to give up on it. But a friend encouraged me to start anew, so here we are with my first card for 2026. It’s for the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge for January, and features their postage die with their Valentine postage set and Lovely Hearts paper pad. This challenge was a color challenge to use cinnamon red, soft pink, lilac, and buttercream white on the card. All images were colored with Copic markers and popped up on thin foam squares. The inside says Happy Valentine’s Day.

Happy Easter!

I did some tone on tone stenciling using the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Eggs stencil and Bubblegum Pink, Peach Bellini, Lemon Drop, Applemi...
